School
Kid on the back row? that was me! I hated high school, and remember vividly a few teachers,
Shedwin, Cates, and coach Grimes.
I got through as fast as I could, and havent kept up with anyone. Shame on me!
College
Yep, folks that is right, I geeked my way through college in two years to get 2 degrees in
Art History. Best friend of all time was GIGI or Jenifer Walker. Jeff Smith rocked as a teacher, and Truman was a pretty cool boyfriend. The only thing that i ever used my major for was my Masters Thesis about 10 years later. The Alumni Assoc. lead me to the love of my life, so School did ultimately get me the whole MRS. money ( yeah, I finally figured it out) and was a Diagnostician ( that means I put kids on the short bus). I now and a special education director for a local public school system. Hopefully, I will return to college in a couple of years for my JD. We will see if SMU will take me if I am still interested.
Workplace
I have done a few crazy things in life, and it definately is not over. I have done it all from waitress to teach school, give IQ tests, be a detention officer, to running a special education department for a school district. And,oh, yeah, I worked for the Bass family for a year and ran a small museum on the weekends in Ft. Worth. Hoping to be a lawyer before I kick the bucket. They say variety is the spice of life!
