Molly's Story
I'm divorced, have 2 children (Stephannie is 45 and Matthew is 37) and 3 grandchildren (Ryenne is 17, Jake is 11 and Tyler is 8).
I live in Los Alamitos and have, on and off, for the last 35+ years.
Work in Long Beach for a petroleum distributor; go figure, old hippie me working for the oil industry. I'm grateful, though, as the company is really good about hiring older folks - age discrimination is rampant in CA - plus it's only a 10 mile drive to...Expand for more
work (surface street), so can't complain.
Love to read, Science Fiction/Fantasy and History. Attempted to learn Irish Gaelic because my Grandma instilled a love of all things Irish in me. Get up every morning at 4:15 AM to exercise before work - I hate exercise but the older I get I realize the benefits I reap by staying fit.
It's wonderful to have reconnected with so many fellow Pirates both at and after our 40th reunion. Class of '68 still rocks!
