Molly's Story
If you are reading this, then first let me say hello! If I knew you back in the day, then I hope you are doing well. I wish for you every happiness. If we were friends in the past and you would like to reconnect, then send me an email to say hi! I would love to hear what others are up to. I've reconnected with a few old friends and it's been a blast to get to know each other again.
Life
Most important to my life is that I have been married for over 35 years to the love of my life and we have three wonderful adult children together. My husband and I worked as Integrative Medicine Physicians in Tucson, AZ and San Francisco, CA but are now retired and living in Spain.
School
I went to John Marshall High School from 7th grade until 12th grade. Though I was technically in the class of 1980, I had upgraded in almost all my classes and so I really felt like a member of both the classes of 1979 and 1980. I was supposed to graduate in 1979, but through a number of unforeseen circumstances related to a family illness, I ended up graduating in January of 1980 instead. I never know which class I should list myself under, so I put myself on both. ...Expand for more
If there are any reunions, I would love to attend both.
College
I graduated from St. John Fisher College with a major in Psychology and went on to a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling & Vocational Evaluation. I was then one semester away from completing the coursework for a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Psychology when my husband and I started our family. I decided to stay home with our kiddos for a while and didn't end up finishing the Ph.D.
I eventually went on to medical school instead, specializing in Family Medicine and practicing Holistic (later called Integrative) Medicine for the rest of my career.
Work
I was very involved on the national level in the field of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. I was President of the American Holistic Medical Association as well as the Past Chairman of the Board for the Integrative Medicine Consortium. I was also on the Board and the Executive Council for the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. In addition, I have two published books, one on Complementary and Alternative Medicine and the other on Nutritional Medicine.
Overall, it's been a busy life but one filled with a lot of love.
