Molly's Story
Life
I am currently running the family business, Roll Forms, ( a sheet metal company) in Robinson. I am also the youth minister at Golinda Baptist Church. I have two awesome boys- David 19 and Jeff 14. My goal is to run the company for a while, and then reopen a home preschool. I was gone from Waco for 14 yrs and when I returned to Robinson, I started running into alot of you. We have all gone so many directions! I am so thankful for all my "volleyball girls" and coaches. They were always there for me, when no one else was. My high school years were tough and those close to me know why. Thank all of you! I always tried to smile and spread joy, be there for whoever needed me, and was a friend to everyone. I would love to hear from you, and if you ever need a friend, Molly is still here. God Bless all of you!
In case all of you Corsicana people are wondering why I am listed in your school, I was married to Kenny Kennemore for 18 years and taught at Little Red Schoolhouse as Ms.Molly for 11 of those years. So I wanted to include my second home in hope that I might get in touch with some of my Lil Red parents or students.
School
I look back at high school and sometimes smile and sometimes not. I had alot of people I admired and I am sure they know who they are! There were a few teachers that inspired me. Spiritually it would be Debbie Watkins and Deb Davis. The...Expand for more
y helped me grow in Christ and always encouraged me to use the gifts that God had given me to glorify Him. I pray that if any of you remember me, its that I stood for God and shared His love to you no matter who you were. Pat Thomas was another teacher that meant alot to me. She was so spunky for her age and genuinely loved her students. Suzie Eppers was a rock! She inspired me to always look up to God for strength to get through the hardships in life. Once again there were so many that had their own little part in inspiring me. I was blessed with some awesome mentors. Mr. Murray and I went round and round about the debate of "Is there really a God?" Oh did he hit a nerve! By my senior year, he finally admitted that IF there was a God then he could definately say that I was a Christian. That was the best compliment I could ever have. I never felt like I fit in at school, but after leaving Robinson for 20 years and then moving back, so many of the people I looked up to in school have been so receptive to me. They have told me how special I was to them. I am overwhelmed. I pray that I, in some way,was a friend to you and made you smile at least once in our years together. Yep! You're right...I'm still the "goody-goody" that loves everybody and wants to make everybody okay and happy! So God bless and if you ever need that special prayer-you got it even without asking!
