Monica's Story
After graduating from nursing school, I became a commissioned officer in the US Navy Nurse Corps. I served for 3 years at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland and 2 years at Yokosuka Naval Hospital in Japan. While in Japan, I met my future husband and the love of my life on a ski trip. He was a Naval Academy graduate and finishing his last tour of duty on the USS Midway. We both got out of the Navy and married in 1992. We have four wonderful daughters. ...Expand for more
Our oldest Paula is a high school chemistry, entomology and math teacher in Chattanooga, our middle Julianne is a senior in college, and moving to LA in January for a film production internship. Our twins Abbey and Brooke are freshman in college. We have been living in Franklin, TN for the past 13 years and love it here. My husband has a career in Healthcare and I have my own coaching company/ministry helping teens and young adults with chronic pain.
