Monica's Story
I am currently living in New Delhi, India with my husband and one-year-old daughter, Anelise. My husband's work has brought us here temporarily, and it has been quite an adventure so far. We plan to return to New York City (our home) in a couple of years, where we'll resume "life as usual".
For the past 10 years, I've been working in new product development, with a focus on innovation & technology. My role is to lead research (are we building the ...Expand for more
right thing?) and testing (did we build it right?). It's been interesting work and the challenge, and fun, is that it's always changing.
Other than the adventures in Asia, we are also enjoying the adventure of being new parents. Having a child with us has enabled us to see and experience new cultures in ways we never would have been able to previously. We feel very fortunate for this opportunity, and to see India at this stage in its development.
