Monica's Story
Life
My life has been getting better as I get older. I can't believe that I graduated from high school in 1964! Wow! I still feel the same inside. I am single, and living in China and teaching English here. I started this career at the age of 50. I like to learn about different cultures and peoples.
I have two children and one grand-daughter (who I haven't seen yet -disadvantages of living overseas). I would love to hear from anyone who would like a pen pal from China. I will be coming home in January, so we could meet face to face at that time.

ree in General Studies, at the age of 58! I have been working on it for a while, and did the last bit by correspondence because I live overseas. It's never too late! I'm now living in the country of Oman- not Amman in Jordan, but Oman next to Saudi Arabia. It's warm all year round. No manic-depressive rainy days, but we've been craving rain when it only comes once a year! I live in Salalah in the south, and 117,000 people have come here the last 2 weeks! The reason-Khareef season- the monsoon from India. It's cooler and raining for a few weeks, and it's great!Little frogs are everywhere!
