Monica's Story
Life
To make a long story short, after high school, I started working in the film/tv industry. I traveled and worked all over the country. I met a lot of great people from all over the world. It was exciting for a girl from Troutdale.
I worked 16 years in the industry working as a driver for cast and crew, an assistant location manager and once as a stunt double on one of Brad Pitts first shows. My brother, Bill is also involved and works on movies now, just moving his family back to Washington from N. Hollywood.
I met my husband on a show in Eugene, Oregon (Of course when I wasn't looking!) and the rest is history.
We had a premature baby (he was 26 weeks, weighing 1 lb, 14 oz) who ended up being in the NICU for 95 days. That was the worst time of our lives.

ill at the beginning, but now a healthy and sassy 8 year old. He was the 2006 Ambassador for the March of Dimes for Central Oregon! How great is that?!?! We're very proud. We are a featured family on a site called Project Life Sail for January 2006. You can do a search and bring it up.
We're very much into the March of Dimes and working to raise money for prematurity.
I did my last movie when I was 5 months pregnant. My husband still works in the industry, and he is second generation in the business as well.
We now live in Bend, Oregon, and I've become a Realtor and work with Keller Williams... We just LOVE it here! It's a wonderful place to do just about anything. YEAAAAAAAAA, it's good to be back in Oregon!
