Monica's Story
Life
In 1983, after graduation, I married David Corley. We had three beautiful, healthy children and spent the next 8 years traveling with the Army. We finally settled in Astor. Life has been good to me. After 21 years together, David and I divorced. Was a difficult time, but everything in life happens for a reason. I have since moved to Williston, FL. It's a great little town, just outside of Gainesville. (GO GATORS!!) I had a home built (I LOVE "MY" HOME!!); got my first tattoo for my 38th birthday and I LOVE it! Figuring out what I might want for my second one. Mike has an idea, but - laugh.. umm..!!!
Maura and Chase were married in March, 2010. It was a beautiful day filled with love and family! They are happily residing in Williston and expecting their first baby in October!
Bekah has completed her AA and is enrolled at St. Leo full time in addition to being employed employed by a large financial institution and is LOVING her new career!! She has a steady boyfriend (Pat) and is doing very well; she's very happy with her life right now. She and Pat are engaged and will be married in November, 2011.
Josh is doing great! Josh has two totally sweet kids: Cheyenne & Logan. Logan is a complete doll! I have been blessed to have such beautiful children in my life. Those little cuties just melt your heart! NOTHING beats having ...Expand for more

My kids have grown into three awesome young adults, that I am very proud to know.
I've found that we make our own happiness; everything in life prepares us for who we are supposed to be. LAUGH! Even if we think the journey may kill us!!! I wouldn't trade one laugh, or one tear. It's worth it, EVERY 'dance', no matter how horrible the music may be!
My new honey is Mike. He is a very, very funny man and he loves my children, as though they were his own. I've gotten to experience a lot since meeting him... he loves music, so concerts are ongoing. We get to travel quite often... Savannah is one of our favorite spots... the Florida Keys (I practically grew up there, so I get to show him around 'my neck of the woods'). We've been on cruises! Life if just so full of surprises!!! He makes my heart smile... Mike asked me to marry him while I was standing in the processional line at my graduation from SFC with an AA in Studio Art. We will be married next July (2012).
Life is good; just remember to breathe, and always remember to laugh! If you must cry, it's only worth 15 minutes.. then move on.... and remember to ride the waves with your eyes wide open.
