Monique's Story

Life For many reasons, things didn't work out with Ashley so I have moved forward. I have been dating Manzoor since Christmas Day 2006. Manzoor is from Kashmir mountain region. He's a sweetheart! Workplace I started out at the St.Boniface General Hospital as a Ward Clerk in 1980. I was there for 5 1/2 yrs working various patient care units. In 1985 I moved to Calgary and I didn't work for a year. In 1986 I started out with the Calgary District Hospital Group as a casual Unit Clerk and in 1988 went PT. In 1989 I went FT and did data entry for the operating room at the Holy Cross Hospital and in 1990 started managing their database. In 1993 I also took over managing the database for the Rockyview General Hopital. I worked in the Operating Room for 10 yrs and in 1999 I put the ORSOS program to sleep and we coverted over to OMNI Server. In 2000 I started in Staff Scheduling working with the ESP program and booking casual and PT staff for 6 units/600 staff. I started as a Scheduler Assistant and moved up to Scheduler and Currently as a Site Supervisor. I manage the Regional Staff Scheduling Office for the Community Offices with a Full time staff base of 8. Using the ESP(Environment for Scheduling Personnel) by Total Care, we schedule and download information to a payroll system for +70 Community Offices ...Expand for more
in and around Calgary. In 1993 my husband and I moved to an acreage 80km from Calgary, built a home with barn, corrals and calf shelters. We invested in goats, both dairy and meat. In 1995 we sold all of our meat goats and started what was to be a very successful goat Dairy, "Rainbow Ridge Dairy". I sold fluid goat milk with door to door delivery and I had a steady customer base of about 40. I was the only milk producer to service Calgary. Our farm name was the "EIEI Yeo Farm"(we thought it was catchy as our last name was Yeo) and yes people remembered it. I was for several years very active in the goat industry, both agriculturally and polically. I have done many goat presentations at the "Aggie Days" and "The Calgary Stampede" over the years. Goat husbandry was a passion of mine and I have just recently sold all of my "Grand Champion" goats to a couple in Saskatchewan. I have bred, raised, shown and sold goats across Canada, many of whom are on milk test and are in the record books for milk production and sires. With the recent disaster in Asia, I hope all of you embrace your family and love them every moment to the fullest. This is ultimately what we strive to achieve in our lives. Please, take the time to love each one and be kind to them every moment you can. They could be gone in an instant!
