Monique's Story
Moved to Texas married a contractor/Musician had 2 children and got my BSW at A & M in Commerce. I also breed English Bulldogs as something thats pleasurable and I enjoy. My husbands band found a new drummer who plays at their calliber and is seasoned. Its taken 2 years, their past drummer had been with them 23 years but his job takes him out of state and unable to play on gigs. Anyone who went to Club San Moritz in Crestline might remember Ken Nordlies dad would book the band called The Crystals once a month, as I recall they were good then-I didn't know my husband then, just listened to the bands on Friday and Saturday nights----Oh what a fun time of life. Its been a fun ride along the way. Keith and I don't have any grandchildren yet, daughter wants and is going to wait until she is out of college....Expand for more
As I have been told shes fine and smart. My son dosn't want any children, he has a small company that make lures, works with Keith in construction company and on weekend guides and enters tournmnents at Lake Fork Texas. He can find fish in a puddle of water its amazing. We live 80 miles east of Dallas full of agriculture and green pastures, I prefer the slower paced place to live and then we always have gone to different cities on weekends whereever the band is playing. Their are some true cowboys out here, bull riding, barrell racing and all sorts of activities. We have lived here 31 years, tried moving back to California but I didn't like it so we came back to Sulphur Springs. I will be celebreating our 36th wedding anniversary it sounds strange when I was only married to Rick Thomas for 1 year.
