Monique's Story
I have been married for 28 yrs. to my high school sweetheart, Shawn McDonough. Have 4 children...Greg 27 yrs, old, married 3 yrs. Tom 25 yrs. old married 2 yrs., who announced to us this Christmas that we will have our first grandchild in July "09"., Kim 20 yrs. old, Aurdrey, 15 yrs. old. Our youngest daughter is our african american adopted daughter. "We spend lots of money on weave" LOL. I have worked with disabled children and adults in my home for 25 yrs. Have done foster care and mentoring youth also. Love to watch the kids grow into adults and become who they are today. area for alomost 8 yrs. My son Tom, just graduated from "College for Creative Studies", Detroit. and looking for his first job as a graduate. My daughter Kim,20 yrs old lives in Rochester and is in school for massage therapy. Youngest Audrey spends alot of time in front of the mirror with her "weave" LOL Life this last year has been a struggle...I lost my oldest brother to a suicide, very unexpectedly. God has been faithful to see us through this pain. My husband Shawn has his own Heating and Cooling business SMC Heating and Cooling and is thankful to have work these days.
