Monita's Story

I've been living in the High Desert of So Cal for about 25 years now. I have 16 children and 13 grandchildren. My oldest son, Joshua, passed away on January 6, 2005. He was 24 years old and I still miss him terribly. My youngest, Maryanne, was born 3 months after Joshua passed away. Losing Joshua broke my heart. I still miss my son with all my heart. Maryanne kept me alive after I lost Joshua. Three weeks after giving birth to Maryanne, my husband moved out, which ended up being a blessing. into the depths of despair I had allowed myself to sink. I am now divorced and loving it. My kids and I have a great life together. We laugh together and cry together, but always, we do it together:-) Life didn't turn out the way I expected. I expected that all my kids would outlive me. I have beautiful kids and adorable grandkids and I am surrounded by love so what could be better? I've made a lot of mistakes in my life but each one of those mistakes made me the person that I am today. Maybe someday I will find a nice guy who will want to be a part of my life but for now I am happy being with my kids.
