Monte's Story

I didn't take high school or myself serious, I was a lousy student and a misfit. Still quite a rebel, but in productive ways! I keep in touch with Steve Sandberg and Roger Stevens from the '71 class. After Graduating I: I got married 1973, lived in Omaha, joined USAF 1974-1978, came back to Omaha, worked and went to college, 4 kids, Divorced 1979. Moved to Colorado 1986. Lived in cabin in mountain town (lifelong dream fulfilled). Moved to Albuquerque, NM 1988-present. Got married to Susan 1990, she's awesome! Wrote first book Adventures in Camping 2005. Wrote 2nd book Best In Tent Camping New Mexico 2008. Mr. Lee and Mrs. Day would freak! They deserve a lot of credit. Books are available on Amazon, type my name as author. vity, photography, computers, writing books and articles and old west poetry, travel, old west and military aircraft history, church and family. Have three dogs; 2 German Shepherds and 1 Shih-tsu. Conservative values, but disgusted with politics. My relationship with God is prime importance, I love God, love The Bible and church activities. Active member of Christian Motorcyclists Association, and Steel Horse Disciples. Current work: consultant for major communications company. Life's lessons learned: Don't underestimate yourself. I left high school as probably the student least likely to succeed. With a lot of God's grace and a little effort from myself, I ain't rich but I've been blessed. Don't burn bridges, you will have to swim back. Live alcohol and drug free, and live with integrity.
