Monty's Story
Life
Caught between two eternities; the vanished past and the unknown future; we never cease to seek our bearings and our sense of direction. ... The belief that we have found the answer, can separate us and make us forget our humanity, it is the seeking that contunues to bring us together, that makes and keeps us human. THE SEEKERS: Daniel Boorstin. To coverse with those of centuries is almost the same thing as to travel. It is good to know something of the customs of different people. ... But when one employs too much time in travelling, one becomes a stranger in one's country. RENE' Pascal. Is everybody in. Let the journey begin. JIM Morrison. I guess we all become seekers. Columbia anyone. Come on; we catch a "Banana Boat" in Puerto Bello, Panama and go on to Turbo, Columbia. I am on my way to Ushuaia, Argentina. , 2 years in Germany, and 3 months on the Island of Crete was nice; not to mention Turkey. But I always did like the Latin Culture. Been to London and Athens, but give me La Paz, Bolivia; Quito, Ecuador or Lima, Peru. Or maybe Jaco, Costa Rico. Nice playa! Imagine that I took French in high school and know more Spanish. Bueno! Anybody needs a tour-guide? Life is good. Sometimes I wonder where a lot of people I knew back when and then are today. Give me a little time and I will get back to you I hope. I just moved to McAllen, Texas, near the Mexican border. Hola! I work for a freight company from Kansas City, Kansas. Gets a little windy up here. Seen my 1st tornado a few weeks ago. Wow, that was scary. Then I saw Toto! Really, there is a dog that hangs around here, looks like Toto. I do go back and forth from K.C. to the Rio Grande Valley, the Rockys; mostly New Mexico and sometimes Colorado. But, Montana is my favorite state. Utah is good. Sometimes you just have to get up and go somewhere. Is everybody in, let the journey begin. Hope everyone is doing well. My thoughts are with you and my old military friends. Maybe someday we can meet again. Adois, senors and senorities.
