Morgen's Story
I'm now a 42 year old momma, writer, photographer, and wife living in a mostly peaceful town in Illinois, close to St. Louis.
I have a wonderfully awesome 17 year old daughter (as of 2013) who is my rock, my everything.
I write mostly short stories, and my daughter shares my gift. We have collaborated quite a few times, and she writes on her own, as well. I am very proud of her.
I married my first & only husband, Tom, in March 2007.
Also in 2007, I was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy. It is NOT diabetes related...we don't know the cause as of yet. Neuropathy basically means there is physical damage to the nerves in my body, and as a result I am in constant, severe pain. There is no cure for neuropathy; all the neurologists can do is attempt to treat the pain and keep me moving. I simply do the best I can with what I've got.
I moved here in 1991, on the wings of fate. I am glad I did; I have known many unique and creative souls along my path, some of whom are still in my life, some of whom are not. They all played their part in helping to shape the woman and mother I have become.
In 2007, I finally took the GED test, not only passing but scoring in the Top 10% of my class. I also earned 2 scholarships to college that due to circumstances beyond my control, I was not able to accept...but what matters is that I know, in my heart, I earned them both. My diploma still proudly hangs.

m lucky in that I write more for pleasure than for profit, therefore I am able to stay true to myself and my writing.
I will always be most grateful for her, and for my daughter, who changed my life completely and utterly, for the better.

The book is $15.00, which is a lot, I realize, but I had to price it such per lulu...and it is worth it. The print is larger than usual, so it is easy to read for those of us, like me, who need large print and bifocals to see. Click on either the book cover or free preview to read.
It is a very original story, one that has been with me since 1987. Took 27 years to be ready, willing, and able to write it. Thank goodness my characters stayed with me all this time.
