Eric's Story
Life
Like everyone else, I had absolutely no clue what I wanted to be after high school. I ended up graduating from Sac State in 92 with a Communications Degree and worked at the radio station, Y92 in the promotions department. I soon moved to producing and caught a break when an on air job was offered to me at Big 98 FM in San Francisco. I produced and was an on air personality for 2+ years before growing tired of waking up at 3 AM to do the morning show.
I then entered into the publishing world and began running several magazines in SF, before being transferred to NYC. I grew tired of the ÂBig Apple and moved back top Marin and started selling adverting for several different magazines. I was then offered a job in Atlanta to head up sales of a publishing company and headed to the ÂDirty South. While working for Highbury House Communications, I launched several magazines, titled, WomenÂs Health and Fitness, MenÂs Edge, European Homes and Garden and my personal favorite Gambling Online Magazine, which was the first publication to focus on internet gambling.
After 5 years of working for the ÂMan a friend and I decided to start our own publishing company to take advantage of the poker craze. In 2003 we opened Bluff Media and began publishing BLUFF Bluff Media took on a life of its ow...Expand for more
n and we soon became the largest poker publication world wide with offices in London, Australia, Los Angeles and soon to be South Africa and Costa Rica. We have recently been awarded the digital media rights for the World Series of Poker by HarrahÂs Entertainment. Our agreement with HarrahÂs afforded us the opportunity to start a radio and television production aspect to Bluff Media.
As of July 2007, we launched FIGHT which is now the largest publication dedicated to the Mixed Martial Arts phenomenon. We will also be doing all the Television/Web broadcasting for the Asian Poker Tour, which launches this fall.
As for my personal life, I have been married to my wife Teresa for over 6 years and have 2 awesome little boys, Jack  4 ½ and Alec  14 months. Teresa amazes me every day with how great she is with our kids and has more patience then anyone person I have ever met. My boys, well they are typical little boys, who love to play with cars, swim and push every last button I have.
I spend my recreational time with family and friends here in Atlanta and make my way to Las Vegas to play poker as often as possible. I have been lucky enough to play and cash in a few WSOP events over the past 2 years.
If anyone is up for a poker game or wants to catch up, you know where to find me.
