Life My Spouse I met my first spouse in my old neighborhood when I was 13 years old. High school sweethearts and the whole nine yards thereafter. After 16 years of marriage and a 23 year relationship, we went our separate ways. Perhaps we got married too young! Should have listened to those pesky adults afterall. Since then, I met my current spouse in 1996 through mutual acquaintances. In 1998, he proposed to me at a Zepher's game, in front of 10,542 fans on his knees with a microphone in one hand and a ring in the other and his proposal question to me on the score board! I was never more embarressed or more flattered in my whole life! It was also "Ochsner Night" at Zepher's Field that night, which was my place of employment at that time! Needless to say for that next few weeks at work people would pass me up and say "hey, weren't you the one....!" I'd say yeah!!! It took me awhile but about a year and a half ago, I took the plunge again, flew to Las Vegas in 1999, had the time of my life and got married.. VEGAS STYLE! I must say I have never been happier to date! Thank you God!! My Pets I have a Basenji dog. The breed is know as "the barkless dog." My dog has a youdle sound when she speaks. She can bark though if she wants to. That usually means a strange presence, but even her bark is rather different from the common dog bark. She is a very hyperactive 5 year old pet! She can do some of the craziest things one minute and make you laugh and then the next minute do something she knows you don't like her to do just to aggrivate you. It is a form of play this breed has with themselves! She needs a lot of attention and is very teritorial and domineering around other dogs, especially female dogs! Go figure! All and all we all love her and wouldn't trade her for any other dog. I also have a precious calico cat that the dog tries to show who's the boss sometimes. But I...Expand for more
