For friends looking for Andy (Andre Rene) Salcedo, he is my husband and attended Marine Military Academy, Father Dueanas High School, and graduated with an MBA at University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

I always wanted to leave home and tour Europe then go away to college. I just didn't think I would be a grandmother first. Rome, Venice, Paris and Berlin were more than I ever expected. I'm a part-time adjunct professor at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and graduated with a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition in May 2014 from the University of Texas at Arlington. news business to change my career and devote more time to teaching and writing for publication. My English teachers at Clark were some of my greatest influences. I remember the paintings from Chaucer's Canterbury tales that students painted on the high school walls, especially the Wife of Bath. My only son passed away in June. It has been a time of grief for me. I wish he could have been with me when I graduated with my Ph.D. He encouraged me through these six years in the program. My husband and daughter hold me up, as well as the grandkids. Going to San Diego for Thanksgiving 2014 and Puerto Rico for New Year's 2015.
