Ida and I were married 10/5/08 after 32 years and a 4 year court battle. And now CA has put us into a "special privileged group" who were allowed to marry when the whole point was to have everyone have the same choices. Yuck!
2013 update - very soon the U.S. Supreme Court will decide the equality issue; I wish Ida were still alive to celebrate/mourn with me about the decision.
2015 update - The Supremes will hear marriage equality arguments on April 28 (which just happens to be my birthday)!".
