Myra's Story
Life
I was born in Creighton, Pennsylvania, (lived in Ohio for 2 years), and later moved to Richland Township. Soon after graduation from high school, I relocated to the Washington D.C. area, where I eventually earned a B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Maryland.
I am the proud mother of 3 children, raised in the Washington D.C. area, my home for the past 45 years. I have three grandsons (our families delight!).

I had originally discovered my love for art as a child. There, I am continuing the quest to pursue my passion for art!
I am a visual artist, specializing in oil painting. I have exhibited in various galleries and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area, have taught art, and have acted as a curator for embassy and art exhibits. My paintings explore the themes of environment, social issues, emotions, history, space, and literature.
