Nadine's Story
Life
After graduating, I took a year and worked before attending NMSU. I worked in the library there as a student and when my supervisor quit, I applied for and was hired to fill her position. After several years of working there, I decided to get a degree. I attended DABCC where I got an Associates Degree in Secretarial Administration. Within two weeks of graduation, I was hired by a local law office where I have continued to work. It's 21 years now in the same office.
I married in 1995 and divorced in 2003. No children. Only kids are the four-legged kind. I have two dogs. One that adopted me at my home and an 8 month old puppy. My adopted son (Scrappy) was fo...Expand for more
und on a scrap of carpet and was thought to belong to one of the neighbors. When I got home that afternoon, he was still there and ended up staying for the past seven years. Scrappy is a 16 pound mutt that the vet believes is a Kairn Terrier/Dachsund(?) mix. The puppy is a 45 pound Blue Heeler/German Shepard mix. Pepper (the heeler mix) looks more German Shephard and is a lot of fun to have around. She keeps me on my toes by playing Houdini and escaping the yard. The good part is that she knows enough to come to the front of the house and let me know she's escaped. I think I've found all the escape routes, but only time will tell!!
