Nadine's Story
I moved to Keizer three years ago. I have a good friend that lives about twenty five minutes away. I have known him since high school.
The Willamette Valley if a beautiful place. Warm summers, and not as blustery as the coast where I lived most of my life.
I have a sweet Terrier Mix dog that is about 12 years old. And I recently aquired a male Cockatiel. He is noisy as heck at times.
My son and his family live in Bay City, Or. and my daughter ands her family live in Tillamook.
I am of Cherokee decent. My Great Grandmother was a Cherokee woman. My Cherokee name is Raven Moonstar. I was given my name by a Tribal Chief in Mo. Last month I was thrilled and honored to be able to attend a Pow-Wow in Siletz, Or. It was a...Expand for more
mazing. I wore my beautiful Cherokee Tear Dress and represented my people proudly. I took my daughter with me. God willing, I will go again next year.
I am the Activities Director where I live, so I keep busy most of the time. I also have a good sized yard that takes a lot of my time.
I like nearly all kinds of music except hard rock. And I like to read a good book and also like to watch movies. Also love to go for walks with my dog and work out at our club house, both which have had to be put on hold until my knee gets well after surgery.
I love, love, love to go to the mountains. The most beautiful place I have ever been was to Glacier National Park. I was more than humbled by it's majestic beautiful mountains.
