Najah's Story
Life
Graduation was great! But there is always life after that. I went to Lincoln University for my freshman year and came home thinking that I need to try something else. I started working and met my now husband, Kevin Gross, Sr. I also have a little one, Damon Robert Gross(3 years old) and I have a 7-year old stepson, Kevin, Jr.(aka K.J.)
School
I had a crush on my junior and senior prom dates(wow).
I had some really great teachers that made it their business to inspire me. Mrs. Fitzgerald, Ms Howard, Mrs. Starks, Mr. Brodie.
College
I had the best roomamate. She was the most patient and surprisingly the most funny person that I have come to know. She and I still keep in touch.
The cafeteria food was disgusting! I lost 30lbs, my freshman year!

Workplace
When I came home from school, I did the retail thing off and on. Then, I broke into a more professional environment, I currently work for a temp company that works with librarians and record managers. I go to different law schools and law firms and update their codes and regulation. I also work part-time for the University of Maryland Law School in their library as technician.I wanted something more long-term so I got hired on a full time basis with the Univ. Of MD, Medical School. Loving what I do.
Now I've recently been accepted into the Univ. of Baltimore to pursue a Bachelor's in English. My husband & I have also separated as well...
