Married to Smitty for 42 years well almost 43 now...wow where has time gone? Married lived in Canyon TX Smitty went to West Tx St and worked for Poineer Natural Gas Co in Amarillo. We left Canyon moved back to Pville for a short time...moved to Tulia for 4 years as Smitty worked for Pioneer Natrual Gas office there... I went to work at Tulia ISD ..we were starving to death the 5 of us...so Smitty hired on with a new Cement Co out of Dallas or Midlothian TX TXI Cement Co. but we did not live in Dallas/MIdlothian area at all....we moved to Columbus MS for 3 years, then back to MIdlothian for 3 years, I went to work at Midlothian ISD as the HS Secrtary to the HS Principal,then Smitty got a position in the new TXI Cement plant in New Braunfels TX where we lived and worked for 19 years..I worked for Comal ISD in New Braunfels. Raised the 3 kids sent them to College our daughter went to South West Tx, one son to the Univ of Houston where he played football for Jack Pardee and John Jenkins and one son to So West Tx for 2 years and then he joined the USN for 2 years...Expand for more
