School: 1969 - 1970, My one and only year at EDHS. My senior year was a lot different than I thought it would have been four years prior. If you all remember this was the beginning of "total intergration". The transistion was a little shaky but I like to think that by the end of the school year it was was much smoother. Which Teacher Would You Love to See Again? Why?: I had Mr. Wells for English and I must say I have never enjoyed a class more!! He was the epitome of a southern gentleman. A class I looked forward to each day. So, Mr. Wells would be my choice of teachers to see again. The Wildest Thing I Ever Did in School: The wildest thing I ever did at school was "smoke" a cigarette and I was on the basketball team!! Nor did I have permission from my parents to smoke (but who did?) The Weirdest Job I Ever Had: The weirdest job I ever had was working for a food service at Kennedy Airport. We prepared the meal for the flights. This is going back a lot of years (obviously since there are no meals on flights these days:)). I think it was the summer of 1971. What was weird about it for me was I had to be at work by 6:00 am and I had to take three buses to get there!! Which meant I had to leave home very early. I cannot remember what time I got up to make this trek. Needless to say that job did not last very long!! I did it for a week.
