Nancy's Story
Life
After high school graduation I got married in November 1973. I had a son, John, in 1974. The marriage didn't last.
I remarried in 1980 to an officer in the Air Force stationed at Davis Monthan AFB. Our son Adam and our daughter Kristin were born in Tucson before we moved away in July of 1983. We have lived in Mt. Holly, NJ 1983-85; Belleville, IL 1985-89, where our son Nicholas was born; Honolulu, HI 1989-92, where our son Alexander was born; Spokane, WA 1992-95 and Mexico, NY 1995-98. We moved to our current home Richfield Springs, NY in January of 1998.

est neighbor is 1/4 mile away. We are located outside Cooperstown, NY where the Baseball Hall of Fame is located.
We own and operate a resort on 170 acres. We have 1-3 bedroom cottages and townhouses that we rent out. As a result we cannot get away in the summer as people come to us for a vacation.
In June of 2002 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I finished my surgeries and chemo January 2003 and feel confident that I have beaten this.
I became a grandmother just before my 40th birthday. I didn't think it was fair to become a grandmother and turn 40 all at once. Actually, it wasn't that bad.
