Nancy's Story
Married 24 years the first time,raised 6 kids, got accounting degree in 1995 at UAF..and CPA. Worked in FBKS, Anc. and Juneau. Enjoyed work at various Native orgs in FBKS.
Married Montana cowboy (with him from 1995-2010) and still share 7 horses, 2 cows, little cabin and some property near Birch Lake.
Mom "got away" in Oct 2004... really miss her.
Spend most of my time in Montan with Dad, for the last years of his life.
After 5 years of my spending most of my time in MT, Gary and I "dissolved" our legal status June 2010 and remain friends. It's the distance thing.....2500 miles apart.
After living in FBKS most of my life, it's pretty strange to be around OLD people. In MT I am spending time with the older friends Dad has...they can often use a hand. Sure makes me want to remain physically and mentally ACTIVE.
Enjoy anything (except building fence) outdoors.

Fills the artsy, creative part of our souls.
Create clay heads and then incorporate them into creatures with sticks, rocks, moss, feathers etc.
Enjoy playing with metaphysical and alternative health ideas. Not really into any one thing.
Use Reiki, massage, some Buddhist healing techniques and am studying classical homeopathy. Also love and use music to enhance life.
Half my kids are following Eastern philosophies. Heather follows Yogananda Paramahansa's path(Self Realization movement).
Dan, Paul and I engage in the Hanmi school of esoteric Buddhism. Daughter, Megan, also dabbles in the practice.
Dan travels the US and Canada giving meditation workshops. Paul just re-located in FBKS (after nearly 5 years in China) and set up a Temple (Diamond Wisdom Center) in FBKS in Tommy's Elbow Room bldg!!!!!! Wowza what a change!
