Nancy's Story
Life
I have been married for 36 years to Ted Hillhouse, also a GHS graduate. I graduated in 67 he graduated in 68. He has been in the packaging business for 35 years and travels the country and abroad. We have two children, Shannon who is 35 and Christopher who is 28. We all live in New Braunfels, Texas which is about 30 miles north of San Antonio. I travel with Ted as much as I can with his business travels. We have a Harley and we travel on it when he isn't working...(Sometimes when he is) We have lots of friends that we ride with. Our favorite thing to do is ride with a large group of friends up to Sturgis, South Dakota for a couple of weeks to the big rally there. We love to camp especially out on the Guadulepe River. One day we got a wild hair to sell our house and buy a large 5th wheel and live on the river for a while. It was great and we had a blast for a couple of years there, but then the big flood of 2002 came and wiped...Expand for more
out most of the camping for a year or so. We continued to live in our 5th wheel for a couple of years and traveled a lot. We have pretty much given up on owning another home because we are never there. We live in a town home now and just love it. We are trying to get ourselves to the point to where we can move back to South Carolina to be with our families. Owning another home here would just get in the way of our plans to move back home. I recently lost my Dad and my Mother. We would like to be back closer to S.C. so we can spend more time with Ted's mother and my brother and sister. I would love to hear from anyone who would like to contact me. Up date!!!! We have recently moved back to South Carolina and are living with Ted's mother and taking care of her. She has been very ill for the last 8 months but is better and we are getting ready to move to a place of our own in the next month or so. We love the weather in Greenville.
