Nancy's Story
Nancy is from Spartanburg, South Carolina. My family moved to Greer, SC after my sophomore year and I graduated from Greer High School. But I still consider myself a member of the Spartan High class of 1962.Nancy is married with Wayne Owens. Nancy's schools include Spartanburg High School, Greer High School. Nancy works(ed) at retired from BMG entertainment warehouse distribution, Retired. While there I drove 3 different fork lifts ( which I enjoyed) among other jobs in the warehouse. Another job I really enjoyed was meeting and training new temps, a lot of whom were from other countries and somehow we got past the language difficulties and made it work. Retired after my orthopedist and my rheumatologist both said RETIRE.

Nancy likes includes, Country and Some Classical and Oldies. TV shows Nancy likes include , Alone, Outlander, 1923, and virgin river series ( I’ve read the whole series.)

for 61 years. 2 children, 6 grands, and 8 great grands. I always enjoyed doing hand crafts ( knitting, crocheting,smocking, quilting, cross stitch) but due to rheumatoid arthritis I don’t do a lot of that now. One thing I am proud of is that I once worked patiently with a wild red shouldered hawk until he would sit on the feeder and take food from my bare hand. Took a while but I did it. I’ve done the same with a wild peacock, who is still wild but is spoiled rotten and will eat from my bare hand.
