Nancy's Story
Let's see....I graduated St. David's in 1983 went on to Lourdes High School and graduated in 1987. I finished one year of college at the International Academy of Merchandising and Design and continued taking floral classes. I freelanced for a while doing window displays but the floral industry is what really sparked my interest. I met my ex husband when I was 18, I married him when I was 22, had three children with him. ...Expand for more
Jimmy 15, Mikie, 14 and Katherine 10. I opened my own flower shop here in Bridgeport in 1997 which I closed once I was divorced in 2003. I now work for a local college (IIT) and am raising my 3 kids here in the neighborhood. I have a large family that all live here so I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.
My current age is 38. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be OLD. I was so completely wrong.
