I married Steve Dowdy, my high school sweetheart. I lost him in 2020 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. I was so blessed to share my life with him. e beautiful daughter, an awesome son-in-law and two grandsons that are the light of my life. I am semi-retired, currently working part-time for a church. My career has been varied: Executive Director of the United Way, CEO of Steve's and my company, Vice-Mayor of Waynesboro...just to name a few.
