Nancy's Story
Life
I left Marysville/Yuba City in 1979. Moved to Medical Lake, Washington which is 18 miles southwest of Spokane. I have worked for the same company for 25 years. I was laid off in March of 2006. I was working in the telecommunications business, working for a company that provides local dial tone to rural communities. I began a new career almost 4 years ago. I do the accounts payable and payroll for a mattress manufacturing company, only 3 miles from my home. I now live on almost 6 acres outside of Spokane. I still enjoy spor...Expand for more
ts and the outdoors. My husband Don and I enjoy trap shooting, fishing and camping. But I don't share his passion for hunting. We have 35 acres up in the mountains with a remote and cute little cabin.. We have no electricity and we have to haul water. We spend ever minute we can up there. We love the peace and quiet and the animals. I would love to hear from any of my former class mates.
Don and I retired at age 62 and have not regretted it! Seems like we are always busy. The joke is how did we ever work and get anything done!
