Nancy's Story
It is really hard to believe that it's been almost 40 yrs since I graduated from Altoona High! Lots has happened in my life since that time. I married my HS sweetheart but, unfortunately, it didn't last. In '75 I joined the Navy, left Altoona and never looked back.
I had a 20 yr career in the US Navy and retired in '95 as a Chief Petty Officer. It was a great life - one that I still miss to this day. I had one daughter, Tashena, who is now grown, married to a Navy man and has three beautiful girls. I am truly blessed.

I am still best friends with my best friend, Linda Snyder (now Ruzicka). Hard to believe but we met about 43 yrs ago in Keith Junior High and have been best friends since! We now live in the same local area and see each other as much as possible.
My Mom passed away when I was a senior in HS and I lost my Dad in '04. My family is scattered all over the country - one sister in TX, one in TN, one in IL and my brother is in IL. Funny how life has a way of changing on a dime.
