Nancy's Story
After HS I attended Berkeley Secretarial School in Hicksville and graduated with my AOS in Legal Secretarial Science.
In 1974 I married for the first time and had four children. Kathy was born in August, '75, Cindy was born in August, '77, Chris was born in January,'79 and Todd came along in September '81. I was divorced in 1995. All my "babies" are successful adults right now and I'm so proud!
I worked in the Media industry from 1988-2018. I started off at K-JOY/WHLI in 1988 as the assistant to the General Manager. In 1996 I worked as an admin. assistant for 1010 WINS in Manhattan. I worked there for 5 years. Then, in 2002 I was hired by WLNY TV. In 2012 we were purchased by CBS. I "retired" in 2018 (no more commute!) I am now working for the Town of H...Expand for more
empstead Dept of Parks & Recreation, which is a lot closer to home! I love what I do!
I have 9 beautiful grandchildren ranging in age from 6 to 27!
On June 15th 2008, I got married for the second time to my long time partner, Jeff (Floral Park Memorial, Class of '76). This time it's for keeps! We had a beautiful wedding to remember. We celebrated with family and close friends. It couldn't have been better!
In May of 2022, I was ecstatic and proud to win election to the East Meadow School Board as its newest Trustee, I'm so proud to represent and work for the wonderful District I attended from K -12 (my children and one grandson are all East Meadow grads too!) We reside in my childhood home in East Meadow.
