Nancy's Story
After graduating from Analy I attended SRJC for 21/2 years. (Madame Craig's French classes required extra time to finish my AA --toughest classes in my entire college career!) I transfered to UC Santa Barbara and graduated with a BA in History and minor in ethnic studies. As they didn't want to give a teaching credential spot to a woman (as they would not have to support a family!) I took my GPA up the road to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and got my teaching credential there. California flooded with teachers so took an aside into retail merchandising and managed International Imports in Coddingtown in the mid 70's and opened International Import stores throughout Ca. for my boss.
Married Chip Sandborn ('69) in 1977. Substituted in county schools and was hired to teach social studies at Analy in 1979 until 1984 when I came home to raise my family.

siness and Bible , MA in Organizational Leadership, now runs the family Tree Service. Second daughter, BA in Communications, 27, married living in Pasadena sells digital textbooks for McGraw Hill to Southern California universities and JCs. I have no grandchildren.
After his affair, my husband divorced me ending our 40 year marriage.
Currently I am keeping the family Apple ranch running, interviewing veterans for the Library of Congress Veterans History Project, helping at veteran honoring events and Wings Over Wine Country airshow. I dress as Rosie the Riveter and attend the American Rosie the Riveter Association conventions to honor my Mom, who was a defense plant worker during WWII
My appreciation of history continues to direct my activities.
I continue to enjoy needle arts that I learned at 10 years old: sewing, knitting, embroidery and belong to the American Sewing Guild.
I have been a Christian since my freshman year in college. This is my core value.
I want to travel and am looking for someone to enjoy that experience with me. 7/21/2018
