Nancy's Story
After high school I graduated from UCLA then travelled to Ecuardo with Chris Reinert to learn Spanish. We had quite an adventure and I think I appreciate it more now than I did back in 1971-72. I marreid Jim in 1973. He passed away 7/7/09 from cancer. I have 2 daughters (33 & 29) and 3 grandsons (twins age 20 months and the other 2 years). Before Jim became ill, we travelled extensively as a couple and as a family in Europe and Hawaii. or almost 30 years as a vocatioanl rehabilitation counselor. I now work only work with disabled veterans as a VA contractor. I enjoy work and have no immediate plans to retire. Looking over what I just wrote makes me crazy thinking how fast time has gone. That is my story.
But here is a happy ending...I married my Senior Prom date George Aguirre 7/24/10 on Whidbey Island Washington with Class of 67 classmates Chris Reinert, Mary Hoffman, Dan Bakke, Steve Arnold, Phil McAulay joining in on the hippy dip wedding along with our children, grandchildren and lots of friends.
