I grew up in Salt Lake City. Attended East High School, and then the University of Utah. Spent one semester at Texas Christian University, in Fort Worth, Texas. Went to graduate school in Social Work at the University of Tennesse, in Knoxville. Worked as a Child Welfare Worker in Brownsville, Texas, and then in Huntsville, Alabama. I love to work in the garden, and see things grow, watch the birds and animals, and listen to the sounds of the out of doors.
I used to love to folk dance. It was a real passion, and there were many great friends from that time.
I love to swim, and used to be in the Aqua Maids at the University of Utah. We did water shows, and had a great time. I still go to the YMCA five mornings a week, but now I water jog for an hour to get my joints moving.
Enjoy going out with friends. We hit a lot of garage sales, and resale stores. We go to Farmer's Markets, greenhouses, and other places of interest. I enjoy taking classes.
I work at the Family History Center twice a month, and help people with their genealogy. I teach genealogy classes with a friend from church.
I enjoy reading, and listening to audio books. I have been reading the Jan Karon books lately, and I really enjoy them.
I like Josh Groban's singing, and Celtic Thunder.
I sing alto in our ward and stake choirs, under a great director: Linda Smith.".
