Nancy's Story

Moved to Sarasota then Tampa in 79? Hard to believe. Put in a few years selling Muni bonds, ran a small real estate seminar co then settled into selling real estate for the next 20 years, doing a couple of rehabs (very hands on) on the side. Now having much more fun being a "junk" gypsy retired with income property and living the creative life making and restoring furniture and other stuff for some really nice shops. Lots of architectural salvage pieces and antique repros. Love riding my bike early in the morning in the woods; just me and the birds. Love horseback riding (always), traveling, antiquing, going to auctions, gardening...Expand for more
, sewing, weaving, upholstery, twig work and anything to do with the home. Oh, forgot to mention that I delivered sailboats for CSY when I first moved to Florida, but dont really like sailing that much, except maybe in winter and sort of prefer the small boats to the big boats. Presently spending alot of time in the mountains of NC (missing the change of seaons and checking out the guys in kilts coming off of the AT) wanting to buy a vacation cabin in the Hot Springs/Marshall area and eventually (hopefully this year) move there (Asheville)lock, stock, etc. Wish me luck! Planning a trip up next month if anyone wants to come!
