Nancy's Story
Life .... After graduation, I joined the workforce, starting at American National Insurance and quickly moving on to the Corps of Engineers. I married and divorced and went to work for Galveston County. I remarried, moved to Huntsville, had a son, moved back to Texas City, went back to work for the County and stayed there for many, many years. I took time off to have my second child, a daughter. I went back to work for the County, divorced my second husband and raised my two children in Texas City. Then, empty nest ... so I moved to the Dallas/Plano area and worked for a large communications company.

as City to be close enough to be a part of their daily lives. I currently live in Texas City and worked at UTMB until Hurricane Ike "retired" me in 2008.
I suppose my hobbies would include festivals and travel, although most of my time is taken up by all the daily requirements of just living! Then, there are the grandchildren and their activities .... Football, baseball, volleyball, track, basketball, soccer, gymnastics, and church. ...and of course my friends..movies, lunches, dinners, and any other activity we can think of.
I have no great or long term plans. I just anticipate growing old and enjoying my family and friends peacefully and quietly in Texas City.
