Nancy's Story
I have been happily married since 1987 to a wonderful man that I wouldn't give up for the world. I love cooking, gardening, photography, flower arranging, having friends over for dinner etc.. I spend a lot of time taking care of my mothers vacation house across the street and help my husband with our shoe repair that we have had since 1993 in the town of Waynesville, N.C.. I have a blue front amazon parrot that we have had since 1988, also 2 cats that chose us, a beautiful 2 year old Golden Retriever, and a Paint horse that I have had since 2000. I have always enjoyed cooking but nothing like I do now. I am always looking at new recipes and trying new things to cook. fe and wish that all could be as happy as I am. All my relatives except my mother and sister have passed away and that was very hard for me to get over but life must go on. I do have one son and a 2 year old grandson that I adore. My husband has 5 grandchildren and I will have another one come October of 2009. In some ways I wish that we lived closer to the grandchildren but I truely do not want to move back to Florida if I can help it. I still have friends from Florida that stay in touch and one that I use to work for in Boynton Beach that we are BEST of friends and he is moving to North Carolina within 2 weeks. We have now been best friends since 1982 and will be friends until one of us dies. We both charish each others friendship. There is probably more that I could say but I am tired of writing.
