Life
Graduated from the EATM (Exotic Animal Traing & Management) program at Moorpark college with an associates degree in '94 (major in behavior modification). Went to work in Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel/Casino in the "Winds of the Gods" show as a camel handler with Royal Productions. Transfered to the Excalibur Hotel/Casino working backstage at the "Tournament of Kings" show handling horses. Met my husband while working for this show (he was an acrobat for the Tangiers Troupe at the time). Went to work at the Rainforest Cafe inside the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino as an Animal Care specialist taking care of large parrots and a 15,000 gal saltwater fish t...Expand for more
ank in '97. Became curator for the RFC in 2000. Had a daughter (Amina) in '01, then a son (Adam) in '03 and decided I didn't want to work full time anymore so quit to be a stay at home mom. Started my own business called "Petting Zoo 2 U"- a mobile petting zoo and pony ridesa business doing mostly backyard birthday parties along with some larger events. I love sharing the animals with the children and giving those very first 'pony rides' to remember! We currently live on two acres in Henderson, NV with 3 horses, 7 ponies, 12 goats, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 10 chickens, 5 ducks, 6 rabbits, 1 pig, 4 macaws, 5 snakes, 2 chinchillas, 2 coatimundi and a llama!!
