Nancy's Story
My ambition during high school was to become an Architect, but now I am an Artist and retired Teamster Payroll Clerk, having worked many years on the Seattle waterfront for a trucking company.
Since retiring, I have developed many Kodak negatives of photos that my father had taken of fishing boats as he built them throughout his lifetime and I have enjoyed searching for and finding a...Expand for more
few of those boats on-line. The Ruth R, one that he built in 1934 is still being fished out of Eureka CA. I as a kid only knew that dad went to work every day building boats in peoples yards or working on Lake Union, I learned so much more about him through his photographs. Never had a clue of what he did every day all of those years.
Retirement is such a wonderful time of our life.
