Life
Hi Fellow Belvedereans! I've seen I got 8 hits, but no bites. I guess I wasn't that memorable except as being the best friend of most likely to succeed who was Grace Oseki. I still keep in touch with her. I was the geeky sidekick to her. Because of her I got into lots of sports. Remember Mr Wright for Cross Country and Track and Field? Then there was gymnastics, volleyball, DEBS, and orchestra with Mr. Soto. I played the violin. Anyone remember the Japanese Quartet? We just did one show with Grace, Meg and Linda Asato and myself. We even dressed in kimonoes! Those were the days. Remember riding the bus in the summer time to go to...Expand for more
Cal State LA for sport classes with a lunch and free swim time? I have nothing but fond memories of that time. Most people think of High school as the best time, but for me it was and still is my time at Belvedere. My first crush on a teacher was Mr Kambe and the guy I dreamed about was Albert De La Garza. Grace liked him too, but I think he ended up going out with Shirley Matsumoto. She was a little overweight but lost a lot in Roosevelt. I've been back to the old neighborhood to look around and to stop for a burrito at Manuel's or La Tepeyac as it's formal name. Maybe one of you out there may remember me or Grace and give me a ring.
