Nancy's Story
Life
I never went to college. I got married in 1981 and from this I had a son. I enjoyed raising my son. It's one of the things in my life that I'm most proud of. Unfortunately my marriage ended after 16 years. My son is now 22 and comes to visit me pretty often.
In 1989 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The next year it appeared on the other side. I was lucky enough to have a surgeon who believed in conservation(Many at that time did not) meaning that I did not have to endure masectomy. I received treatment and am happy to say it has not reappeared.

st. Not where I expected to find myself but I'm doing ok. I have taken some technical courses in computers. Web design, html, A+ Certification. Next I want to take a networking class.
My time is spent with friends and my hobby. My hobby is Genealogy. I thoroughly enjoy doing the research and learning the histories of the regions they settled in. My family has a long history in this country and there is so much more I'm hoping to find. I have volunteered to transcribe census records for online viewing.
I have not remarried and do not currently have a boyfriend but it's all good.
