Hey. Some of you may be surprised at this site. I am NOT Nancy Greenwell (Simpson). I am actually Jeanie Greenwell, her daughter. I made this site because I wanted to meet some of her friends from high school and learn more about my mom. You see, my mom, Nancy as you knew her, passed away in 1985, when I was only 2. I am sorry to bring that sad news. I don't remember her at all. I love looking at old pictures of her and going through some of her old things. I have her high school year books and that is what gave me this idea. I love reading the comments that many of you left her and it's exciting to me that I may get to talk to some of her old friends. If you have any stories about my mom or knew her personally, I would love to hear some of them. In the meantime, let me give you a brief overview of her life after college....as...Expand for more

Nancy graduated in 1969, and from what my dad tells me she did real estate after that. She moved to Gatlinburg, TN when her parents moved there shortly after graduation. It was there that she met my dad (and what a great man he is) in December of 1982. They were married January 6, 1983. They had me and my twin brother on September 11 (ironic I know), 1983. ...hummm....all that in a year. They were pretty busy! haha, shortly before we were born they moved to Marietta, GA. When we were only a year old, she got cancer and passed away shortly after we turned 2 in 1985. From what I hear she was a wonderful woman who loved life, loved laughing, and just plum loved life.
