Nancy's Story
Life
I am a widow now but I was married to Cocoa High classmate John Stepp for 37 years. We have 4 children, 6 grandchildren and one great-grandbaby. John passed away in October 2002. We have lived in Kissimmee since 1980. I am retired from Walt Disney World, and from a Debt Management Call Center in Orlando. Love yard work and being outside---that's why we came back to Florida. Love visiting and getting reaquainted with old classmates.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my hubby John, because I'd want to let him know how much I truly loved him and how much I miss him..
How do I hope my old friends from High School to remember me? As a good friend, fun to be around---not a snob. Specific traits: trustworthy, integrity, good-hearted.
Wildest thing I ever did in school. Hmmm so many to choose from---skinny dipping at Clearlake at night probably was the wildest and dumbest thing I did--especially with all the gators.
A childhood memory I'll never forget was the feeling I had the day we left WV in 1961 to move to Florida. I was so full of emotions--at 14 years old, leaving all my lifelong friends was so sad and scary that I would never see them again--but on the other hand was the excitement of moving to the beach area and meeting new friends. I cried sad and happy tears at the same time.

relax: A good cold beer helps---lol. Cleaning helps calm me down. My favorite way to relax used to be going in a boat and fishing all day. Since I no longer have a boat, a good book helps me relax.
My hero's:
I have two hero's and cannot choose between them. My mother and my father. My mother was so loved by everyone who knew her. She was the rock of our very large family. The family has been very lost since she died. My father was the dearest man I ever knew. I loved his stories. He had such a wonderful talent for carpentry. At home in WV, you see his work everywhere you go.

Teacher I would love to see again:
Colonel Devoe don't know why but he was always so interesting.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 1 million of it to Harbor House for abused women , then spend the rest on church, family and myself.
My current age is 63. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be very, very old. I was so completely wrong.
What happened to your first crush? I still stay in touch with him through email and Facebook.
