Nancy's Story
Life
I graduated from GPHS in 1968, had too much fun and should have studied harder, and have fond memories of my high school years.
I attended UTA fron 1968 to 1972, and earned a degree in English. I was an Alpha Phi, active in Panhellenic, and learned to play Spades in the Sub when I should have been in class. I married Gary in 1972, and we moved to Lubbock, where I completed my teacher certification the following year at Texas Tech. on Taylor was born in 1982. In 1991 we moved to Odessa, and I transferred to the ticket counter, where I discovered that the most gracious people live in West Texas! After my kids graduated from Permian and left for college, we moved again, this time to the hill country of Texas. My kids are now 26 and 24, and I love to hang out with them, when they let me! I enjoy reading, antiques, keeping up with old friends, and travel is a priority!
One of these days, when I retire from SWA, I hope to take up temporary residence in a quaint village in England...my own version of "Under the Tuscan Sun."
