Nancy's Story
Life
Still living in Simsbury, have a wonderful family, a good job and continue to chronically over-commit myself to volunteering. Among other things, am in my 5th year as president of the board of the Simsbury Summer Theatre for Youth; have been involved with the group for 18 years. Am addicted to organizing reunions and anniversary celebrations, having done SSTFY's 20th, 25th, 35th and 40th; SHS Class of '77's 10th, 20th, 25th; the Ethel Walker School's 75th; and the First Church of Christ's 300th. Am in the process of getting professional help for this.

mother of two wonderful children, Kate, a third grader at Squadron Line (where yes, I'm volunteering for everything) who plays hockey and piano, and Dan, senior at UConn (where I'm not volunteering for anything because he'd die a thousand deaths if he saw me on campus). Formerly director of marketing for Connecticut for Marsh, Inc., now work part time so I drive Kate around to her various activities and spend lots of time immersed in SSTFY stuff. My husband, an exceptionally tolerant man, is a music teacher, jazz band director at SHS and music director for SSTFY.
