Naomi's Story

First and foremost I am a child of God. I always was and forever will be a child of God. I backslid on my Savior during my younger days after high school to so call experience life. I thought I had missed out on something but I discovered that my parents had sheltered me from the storms of life. What I did learn out in the world has made me a very humble person in my adult life. I am married to a very meek and humble man of 22yrs in 2008. I have 3 daughters all grown and 7 grandchildren. I started out to be a Registered Nurse and ended up becoming a teacher which has set the pace for my life as a Bible worker and missionary traveling the world. I had my own business for ten years making $72,000.00 a year but there was a void in my life. Material things no longer interested me. I felt the Lord deep with in my soul calling me back to Him. I heeded the call and I've been with my Jesus every since working on the Battle Field for Christ. That's the short version of my life. Come home to God everyone He is coming soon. May God be with you all. My favorite relaxation is on an Island laying in the sun soaking up the vitamins from the sun. Then a nice 2 hour horse ride and then a Bible Study with someone who doesn't know God. That is what I call a relaxing day. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a word of prayer, a Bible, and the Holy Spirit to be able to deal with the day-to-day circumstances in this world today My Hero is Jesus. He died for my sins and set me free from them. I am eternally grateful for that. I left my home town in Chester and moved to Tacoma Parks Maryland in 1978 to attend C.U.C Columbia Union College. I returned back to Chester then in 1986 I Moved to Delaware where I have remained for 22yrs. I am preparing my home to be sold so that I can finally move to the country and go back to the basics, like growing my own food and vegetarianism. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Randy Samuels, because We were best friends as children as our parents raised us up in the Seventh Day Adventist Church and I would like to compare life's notes that we've experienced in this world I don't really watch TV but if I do it is on documentaries of real life events and National Geographic. I have an African Grey talking parrot. One of the smartest birds in the world. Her name is Yah Yah. She is good company, some of the things she talk to me about i just have to laugh. People are amazed when they meet her. She says grace and a host of other things. I learned that just having fun with your children and not just telling them what they do wrong all the time means so much to them. The Teacher that I would like to see most is Mr...Expand for more
De'Shields the Dentistry Teacher I had at the Nursing building. He was so humble and the class just ran over top of him. I had respect for him and would like to know where he is and how he's doing. If I won $100 million, I'd give $12 million of it to the Seventh Day Adventist church to spread the gospel around the world, then spend the rest on Family, poor and needy and save some for hard times.. Yes I lived in the dorm at C.U.C. It was a religious College and life their was nice. I was a Vegetarian and so was all the other College students we had so much in common as Seventh Day Adventist. To be truly happy I would love to be in Heaven with Jesus eating off the tree that bares multiple fruits at once. I don't care if I was the last one walking in as long as I was in Heaven. My current age is 48. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be over the hill. I was so completely wrong, mentally I fill like my life has just begun. I fill 25. At first it was all about money and things, but as I grew in wisdom and knowledge it became to me more about others and teaching them the true meaning why we exist. My best friend if I had one would tell you I'm humble, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as ex centric. I dress with the times but I've been praying to God to help me to find the right bathing suit that He would have me wear that I can still suntan in on the beach. Pray for on that one yall. If I had one do-over I would have never went out into the world to see what I thought I missed. I would have stayed in Church and served the Lord forever. In 10 years, I hope to be in South Carolina or Tennessee on 6 acres living the country life. I'm going to get there by the end of 2009 or the beginning of 2010 if God spare life as they say in Aruba. Well I am truly a loner. I don't have an oldest friend only if you count JESUS Whom my dad introduced me to through praise and worship in my mothers womb. At birth they named me after two ladies in the Bible in which Ruth was in the lineage of JESUS "Naomi Ruth" and I love that name. My first job was at Crozer Chester Hospital, where I got paid $4.50 to escort patients to the various departments in the Hospital. What I remember most about it is that it was one of the easiest jobs in the hospital, and all the supervisors were extra nice.. When my best friend moved back to the Island and my sister I grew up with married and moved to Japan. For me that set the pace for me to face my life journey with no earthly friend. Only a Higher Friend and His Name Is Jesus. God be with you all. Jesus is coming soon everyone so get prepared now, time is running out. Naomi Ruth Johnson
